IDQ Webinars: with Arkady Maydanchik
The Art of Building Effective Data Quality Scorecards
Data Quality Scorecards have become very popular in today’s corporate world. The underlying promise is that a DQ Scorecard will help the organization get a handle on its data quality, both as a snapshot and in its dynamics, and thus save lots of time and money. Yet, this promise more often than not remains unfulfilled. In this webinar, we will discuss the best practices for creating DQ Scorecards that really help make the difference and outline key steps in building such scorecards.
We will take a step-by-step approach to understanding the structure of DQ Scorecards and explain that a true DQ Scorecard is not a static report; it is a complex BI application which allows aggregation of underlying error reports across many dimensions in order to provide a variety of meaningful and actionable aggregate data quality scores for diverse target audiences, including C-level management, business users and operation managers, data stewards and data quality analysts.
