IQCP logoTopic:

Information Quality Certified Professional (IQCP): preparing for the exam

Abstract:

Earning the IQCP credential requires passing a comprehensive 3-hour exam consisting of 150 multiple choice questions. Join IAIDQ Advisor and UALR-IQ Professor John Talburt, as he describes a new resource to help you prepare for the exam.

The primary focus of this webinar is the new IQCP Examination Study Guide scheduled for publication by the IAIDQ by September 30, 2011. To date, the primary study aid has been the list of references used to generate the exam questions and the Exam Blueprint contained in the IQ job analysis report published by IAIDQ. The job analysis report identified more than 200 knowledge and skill statements organized into six Information Quality Domains. Some knowledge and skills appear in more than one domain.

The Study Guide combines the references and the exam blueprint into one document, grouping these same knowledge and skills differently and eliminating overlaps between categories. It also provides specific published references for the various knowledge and skills categories. In addition, the study guide is indexed in such a way that candidates can study by knowledge or skill category, by reference source, or by the original IQ Domain.

Other exam preparation resources will also be discussed briefly.

This webinar is for all practitioners interested in earning professional credentials in information/data quality!
